MoneyCast is a personal finance forecast app that shows your future account balances — not just what you spent yesterday.
Enter the balances you know today, add the income and bills you expect, and MoneyCast projects your cash flow day by day. See whether you’ll stay in the green before payday, plan for a big purchase, or spot a shortfall weeks ahead.
How MoneyCast works
MoneyCast is a balance projection and cash flow forecasting tool. It answers one question: What will my account balance be on this date?
- You set each account’s current balance — MoneyCast never guesses it from a bank feed.
- You add income, expenses, and transfers — one-time or recurring (daily through yearly), with optional end dates.
- The forecast runs forward from today — every scheduled transaction updates a running balance in the ledger and on your dashboard chart.
- Time catches up automatically — due transactions can roll into your current balance as dates pass, with full history when you adjust balances by hand.
Plan with what-if scenarios
Version 1.1 adds what-if planning so you can test changes without touching your real schedule until you’re ready:
- Add hypothetical income or bills (side gig, new subscription, bonus, extra loan payment)
- Adjust existing recurring items (for example, a pay raise)
- Pause a recurring bill for a set number of months
Toggle scenarios on or off, see them in the forecast ledger, and apply one to your real transactions when you decide.
Use the paycheck calculator to estimate take-home after a gross raise and optionally add that raise to what-if planning.

Who is MoneyCast for?
MoneyCast is for anyone who wants a future balance calculator without linking bank accounts—paychecks, rent, subscriptions, loan payments, savings transfers, and irregular bills you already know.
- Avoid overdrafts before they happen
- Plan monthly cash flow around recurring bills
- Model “what if” before you commit to a new payment
- Keep multiple accounts and transfers in one forecast
MoneyCast vs. a typical budget app
Most budget apps track past spending. MoneyCast focuses on forward cash flow and projected balances—complementary to budgeting, not a replacement for receipt-level tracking.
Privacy & data
Your accounts and transactions are stored on your device. MoneyCast does not require bank login or cloud sync for core use. Export a backup whenever you want to move or restore your data.
The Android app may show ads via Google AdMob. For store-declared data practices, see the Data safety section on Google Play.
